Tobi Tenma is a brilliant 13-year-old boy who lives in Metro City, a futuristic city that floats above the surface of the earth unfortunately now polluted. Tobi's father, Dr. Tenma, is a famous scientist and has built a new defensive robot called Peacekeeper, which will be powered by the blue sphere of positive energy invented by Dr. Elefun. But the bad president Stone, in a desperate attempt to win a re-election, loads the red core into the Peacekeeper. This drives him crazy and Tobi, who had sneaked into the room to see the robot, is accidentally disintegrated by the Peacekeeper before it can be turned off :(
