Billionaire Nathaniel Shepard launches the first mission to colonize Mars. During the journey, astronaut Sarah discovers that she is pregnant and after landing on Mars she gives birth to a baby boy, called Gardner, and then unfortunately dies. Gardner remains on Mars as a secret and also because returning to Earth could be dangerous for his health. Thus Gardner was brought up by the astronaut Kendra and other scientists on Mars. Sixteen years later, in an Internet chat room, Gardner talks to Tulsa, a street girl from Colorado and Gardner promises to visit her one day. Gardner is smart and wants him to be allowed to go to Earth, so he undergoes surgery and training and embarks on a shuttle to Earth with Kendra and other astronauts.
